“Kathy and I worked at the hospital in Fort Dodge together a number of years. She worked as a security officer and I worked as a nurse on the psychiatric unit on the night shift. Kathy made sure to make several rounds each night to check on us and make sure everyone was safe. She would often sit and have coffee with us and visit. Over the years we became good friends. She had such a soft heart. So sad that she is gone.”
