“Phil,
We learned of your Mom’s passing from our Uncle Don. Although we hadn’t seen her since we were kids, we have very fond memories of her when we were growing up. As adults, our Mom would tell us what she heard from Juanita through their Christmas card exchange. Even after our Mom passed away, she continued to send cards to our Dad (which he and we thought to be so kind of her).
We know what it’s like to lose a Mom and so we just wanted you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. With sincere sympathy,
“Audrey and Jim Beste’s kids” (Julie, Gina, Bruce and Lail)”

“Juanita, class personified. We met this magnificent lady when she married my mom's only brother Earl. Enjoyed were her descriptions of the experiences they shared including Earl's love of fishing and of the winters they spent in Texas. Conversations about her life with Phil's dad centered around their life as Dr. Patton who's passing was at far too young an age, began his practice and time spent in California. Of course, when we would stop and see her each April when we were returning from our winter adventure, it was a MUST to view the photos and get the updates on the two young ladies who brought so much joy to her, her granddaughters, Noelle and Elise. Her name will continue to be a part of our family with our granddaughter Kaya Juanita Magnuson. And our memories of her will continue of a loving beautiful person we loved calling Aunt Juanita.”
